Responsibilities:

  1. Demand Planning: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments to develop accurate demand forecasts for products or services. Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to create demand plans that align with business objectives.
  2. Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to balance customer service levels and cost efficiencies. Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns, and implement strategies such as safety stock planning, replenishment planning, and inventory optimization techniques.
  3. Supply Planning: Develop supply plans to ensure the availability of materials, components, and finished goods to meet customer demand. Coordinate with suppliers, production teams, and logistics to align supply with demand forecasts. Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
  4. Production Scheduling: Collaborate with production teams to develop production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacities. Optimize production schedules to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce lead times.
  5. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks within the supply chain, such as supply disruptions, demand volatility, or capacity constraints. Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential risks.
  6. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, customer service levels, inventory turns, and production efficiency. Generate reports and provide insights to management for decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
