Responsibilities of Workshop Supervisor

• Team Supervision: Managing and providing guidance to a team of technicians or mechanics, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Workflow Management: Planning and organizing workflow within the workshop to optimize efficiency and productivity. Prioritizing tasks, scheduling repairs or maintenance work, and allocating resources effectively.
• Technical Expertise: Possesses a solid understanding of the equipment, vehicles, or machinery being serviced in the workshop. Providing technical support and guidance to the team when troubleshooting complex issues or diagnosing problems.
• Safety Compliance: Enforcing and promoting a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety procedures, providing safety training to staff, and addressing any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining workshop inventory, including tools, equipment, spare parts, and supplies. Ordering necessary items to ensure availability and managing inventory costs effectively.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring that all repair and maintenance work meets or exceeds quality standards and specifications. Conducting inspections and quality checks to verify completed work and address any deficiencies.
• Customer Service: Interacting with customers, understanding their repair or maintenance needs, and providing excellent customer service. Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining positive relationships.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory. Generating reports on workshop performance, productivity, and resource utilization as required.

Qualification For Workshop Supervisor

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 1 to 2 years of Experience
• Valid UAE driver’s license
