Responsibilities

  1. Clearing Operations Oversight: Managing and supervising the daily operations of the clearing department, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of trade settlements, clearing instructions, and related activities.
  2. Trade Reconciliation: Overseeing the reconciliation of trades and transactions to ensure accurate and timely matching of trade details, including quantities, prices, and settlement instructions.
  3. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to clearing operations, such as regulatory reporting, risk management, and data privacy.
  4. Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance clearing processes, streamline workflows, and automate manual tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce risks.
  5. Clearing System and Technology: Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of clearing systems and technology platforms to support clearing operations and facilitate efficient trade settlement.

  1. Knowledge of Clearing Processes: Strong understanding of clearing processes, and settlement cycles.
  2. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks, such as securities regulations and clearinghouse rules, to ensure compliance in clearing operations.
  3. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to accurately reconcile trades, identify discrepancies, and resolve exceptions in a timely manner.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal teams, external counterparts, and clearinghouse representatives.

Qualification

  • Degree in MBA or BBA
  • 4 Years of Banking Experience
