Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
  • Conduct credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts, including contact information, payment terms, and credit limits.
  • Prepare and send regular statements and reminders to customers regarding outstanding balances.
  • Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports on accounts receivable performance and provide insights to management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Utilize accounting software and systems effectively to manage and reconcile accounts receivable activities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
  • Stay updated on changes in local taxation laws and regulations affecting accounts receivable.
  • Assist with external audits and provide the necessary documentation.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to enhancing accounts receivable procedures.
  • Provide support to the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed.
